Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made a glowing tribute to Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti.

Hodgson says only Liverpool veteran James Milner can be compared with the Argentine.

Former Inter coach Hodgson said, "He had no star status when he joined.

"It was obvious from the start that he had an incredible physical capacity.

"To this day, James Milner is the only one with as much physical capacity as Javier Zanetti."
