Peter Crouch has paid tribute to Portsmouth caretaker boss Paul Hart for keeping the club up.
"Obviously we lost two managers, and we lost players, too, and it's turned out to be a difficult season," said Crouch, before paying tribute to the impact Paul Hart has had since taking over the reigns.
"In the past few years, nobody wanted to come to Fratton Park. I remember being in the away dressing room and thinking this is going to be a tough match.
"We had to get back to that, we had to all know our own jobs, and I think that's something the new manager has brought in.
"He isn't working with the same calibre of player as Harry had, we haven't had money to bring in new players, but the manager has done really well."
