Peter Crouch is convinced Tottenham are set to overtake Arsenal as North London's top club. According to Crouch, that gap is now beginning to narrow.
He said: "It does mean something to the players to be through while Arsenal are not.
"It does to the fans. You could hear that at the end.
"It is great for the club because they have been above us for years and it is nice to go one step further.
"And why can't we go further still? We have wanted to get as close to Arsenal as possible. They are still ahead of us in the Premier League, but we are getting a lot closer - soon we will be above them in the league."
