Tottenham striker Peter Crouch is hopeful of winning more game time under Fabio Capello following a two-goal performance in England's 3-0 win over Belarus.
Crouch came in as a replacement for the injured Wayne Rooney and produced a fine display but was realistic in regards to what happens next in the England team.
"I'm just pleased I put two away," said Crouch.
"I don't expect to start the next game. That's up to the manager. Whenever I come in I feel I do a job and don't let anyone down. Hopefully I'll get a game."
Crouch also heaped praise on veteran midfielder David Beckham who came on for the final 30 minutes and made an impact.
"David made a difference. We all know his quality. He has that ability to put a ball on a six-pence, fantastic quality. That'll never leave him," Crouch added.
