Crossfire and Italian giants Inter Milan have signed a three-year agreement, which will see the American club benefit from the professional expertise of Inter's academy staff.

Soccer lessons Inter style kick off on Friday in Redmond in the US state of Washington. Inter academy coach Marco Monti will spend a week at Crossfire Premier Soccer, one of the leading youth academies in the United States.

Under the terms of the agreement, Inter will have the chance to observe and assess young American talents. Besides theoretical lessons in playing the Inter way, there will also be training sessions for the teams of Crossfire, which was founded in 1968 and currently counts in its ranks 7,500 youngsters from six to eighteen. Crossfire is widely regarded as one of the main centres for soccer development in the States and many of its players have gone on to play at college level.

Among the main goals of the cooperation is to train the youngest players in the correct way, which is why Inter has been chosen as the ideal partner with whom to share methodologies. After the success of the Inter Academy project in Abu Dhabi with the local Sports Council, Inter's youth academy is now 'exporting' to the States a model of training that is identical to the one carried out at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti in Milan.
