Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis is confident Manchester City striker Harry Bunn will fight back from his knee injury.

The 19-year-old, who is currently on loan at Crewe Alexandra, is back at the club receiving treatment after sustaining severe knee ligament t damage during Alex's 0-0 draw against Tranmere.

"He will possibly need a couple of operations and it will be a long rehabilitation process for him," Davis told the BBC.

"I wouldn't want to put a timescale on it but he is a young lad and will come back."
