"We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with MBNA over the last 19 years and are delighted to extend that partnership into its third decade," said Billy Hogan, the Liverpool managing director and chief commercial officer.
"We are also thrilled to be broadening the relationship and welcome them as an official partner, it is fantastic to partner with a brand that is located in the north-west of England and has a deep rooted sporting heritage."
MBNA strategy and innovation executive James Poole added: "We're using our special connection with Liverpool FC and its legendary supporter base to provide a valuable programme of benefits that make good stuff happen for the real fans of the game."
