Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle intends to clean house this summer.

Coyle wants to rebuild his squad and striker Johan Elmander, midfielder Gavin McCann and defenders Andy O'Brien and Danny Shittu can go.

Swedish international Elmander. 28, has scored just eight goals in 54 appearances since being signed by Gary Megson for £10m from Toulouse two years ago.

McCann, 32, who cost £1m, is not expected to command a fee. O'Brien, 30, £1.5m from Aston Villa, still has a year left on his current deal. Shittu, 29, a £2.5m signing from Watford, is wanted by Derby.
