Bolton Wanderers are capable of recovering from the part start to the season that they have endured.
The Trotters sit 18th on the Premier League table and are now out of the Carling Cup following Tuesday night's 2-1 loss to Arsenal but manager Owen Coyle is confident his players can bounce back from such a precarious position.
"We have good players, we have a good team," a defiant Coyle told Sky Sports.
"This is not a team that's playing at their maximum and losing games, this is a team that there is so much more to come from.
"The important thing is we had an unbelievable home record last season and we've not managed to replicate that yet but we will, we will get back to that.
"We do know as well it was always going to be a season of transition with the younger players we have brought to the football club and some of the terrific players that left us or who are injured it's just the nature of this league.
"But where we are, we are certainly not enjoying being 18th in the league but what we need to do is start picking up the points and moving up the league and we are more than capable of doing that."
Bolton have the chance to get things back on track when they face 15th-placed Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
