Simon Cox says he's a better player for his move to West Bromwich Albion.
The striker hasn't nailed down a regular start this season.
"Experience is so important in this division, knowing what you are going to come up against and knowing how to handle it," Cox told the Express & Star. "I think I've improved by being in and around it for this last few months.
"I've definitely picked up a lot of things that I can add to my game from this season already and that is very valuable.
"Since I joined from Swindon 18 months ago, I think my game has improved dramatically because it has to if you're going to play at a higher level with better players.
"My game has improved technically. I'm fitter and stronger than I was, and just as important I think mentally I'm stronger."
