Coventry City boss Iain Dowie is chasing Blackburn Rovers defender Andy Todd.
Dowie has made the first move for the tough experienced Todd, who is being allowed to go at the right price by boss Mark Hughes.
Wigan, Rangers and Sunderland have been linked with Todd. But Coventry are clear favourites.
