A cousin of released Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed interest from Atletico Madrid.
Despite Atlético so far denying the speculation, Ibrahimovic's cousin, Selman Yalcin, has revealed that the 35-year-old is indeed in Atlético's thoughts, with the Madrid side establishing contact with the player's camp.
"Atlético are talking to his agent, Mino Raiola," Yalcin said. "His contract with Manchester United will finish on 15 July. At the moment he's training on his own at United, but he has options."
Yalcin added that a transfer to Spain may be scuppered by the player's partner, Helena Seger, who he says is keen for a return to Italy - where he has had spells at Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan.
