County still keen on capturing Blackburn's Judge

Notts County are in discussions with Blackburn Rovers over a permanent deal for loanee Alan Judge. The midfielder has made a big impression during his four month, 14 match stay and is back at Meadow Lane on an emergency loan whilst the two club's negotiate a deal.

League One boss Paul Ince knows Judge well from his brief tenure as Rovers boss and is keen on signing the 22 year old.

"A deal for Judge is quite far down the line so hopefully we will get it tied up very soon," said Ince's assistant Alex Rae.

"We know what we are going to get with him. He's a different class and we want him as part of the process to take the club forward."
