Former West Ham United star Marko Arnautovic was denied a shocking return to the club.

The Austrian was in line to return from Shanghai SIPG, the club he joined six months ago.

Arnautovic wants to come back to the Premier Leagueand West Ham were open to a move, per the Mirror.

However, flights from China are grounded due to the coronavirus situation.

It means that Arnautovic is not able to come back to England in time to conclude a deal within the January transfer window.

The Hammers have turned their attention to Jarred Bowen from Hull City, who is also wanted by Crystal Palace.
