Ferran Corominas is close to agreeing terms on a new contract with Espanyol.
The striker's current deal expires in June and his agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, held talks with Espanyol sports chief Paco Herrera earlier this week about a new agreement.
The meeting ended with a deal close to being struck and all signs are that Corominas will remain with Espanyol next term.
