Vedran Corluka is delighted to see fellow Croatian Luka Modric sparkling in Tottenham's midfield.

Modric was again impressive in their victory over Blackburn Rovers.

"He plays there for the national team and he can play there in the Premier League as well," Corluka told the club's website.

"He's done well but we all knew he would. It's much tougher in the Premier League but he can handle that. Luka's a complete player, an excellent player and wherever he plays in midfield he will do well for us."
