Ivan Cordoba was ecstatic to have scored the first goal in Inter Milan's 2-1 win over Napoli on the weekend.

Cordoba celebrated after the goal, his 14th in nine years at the club.

"I'm very happy," the Colombian said.

"I just found myself in the right place at the right time and was able to take my chance.

"But the main thing is the team's performance and the character we showed to defend the result against a side as strong as Napoli.

"These three points were an important sign for us. It shows that we are working well and we must continue to do so until the end of the season."
