Reading boss Steve Coppell isn't interested in selling left-back Nicky Shorey.

The Sun says Coppell hopes Shorey will see out the 18 months left on his Reading contract.

Boss Coppell is no longer interested in Cameroon left-back George Elokobi, who could have filled the boots of the England man.

Shorey has rejected a deal worth £25,000 a week and West Ham want him.
