Kieron Dyer was delighted to celebrate his West Ham signing with a return to the England team this week.
"But it was great to get some more minutes under my belt.
"I had a stop-star pre-season so it was nice to get another 30 minutes, which will all get me up to 100%.
"It's the second time I've played at Wembley. Even though we lost I think it's going to become a fortress for us.
"It's such an honour to be involved with England - it really is the pinnacle. You can get no higher accolade as a player than to represent your country."
