Oldham goalkeeper Les Pogliacomi could be ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a fresh injury setback.
The 31-year-old, who was an ever-present for the Latics last season, is yet to play this term due to his ongoing knee problem which required surgery before Christmas.
Pogliacomi had recently been back on the bench to act as cover to Mark Crossley before breaking down in training this week.
A medical assessment has revealed the Australian will require further surgery which could result in him missing the remainder of the season.
