Rezaei who has been capped six times by Iran is a right sided defender who can play higher up the field as well.

Rezaei won the Iranian league title with Tehran giants Persepolis in May this year.

If Rezaei joins the club, he will become the latest in a long line of Iranian players to ply their trade in Germany and could face fellow internationals Mehdi Mahdavikia and Vahid Hashemian next season.
