Birmingham City are going through "difficult times", admits chairman David Gold.

Brum, who will lose boss Steve Bruce to Wigan today, still have no idea whether Carson Yeung will complete his takeover.

Gold said: "It's a confusing situation and we have not made as much progress as we would have liked. These are difficult times."
