The Aussie is currently on-loan at Oldham Athletic and O'Driscoll told the club's website: "Neil is a very good player.

"We have seen him plenty, as we have faced Oldham four times this season. If he becomes available, he is certainly a player we would be interested in.

"At the moment though, we are just talking to one or two people and waiting for others to get back to us.

"If we could get something done before our game with Carlisle, it would be ideal."
