With only two starts all season, Daniel De Ridder is determined to claim a regular place in the Wigan side. The 24 year old Dutch midfielder said: "I am looking for more starts in the team and feel I have been playing quite well.

"I just have to keep on top of my form and produce my best, then hopefully that might happen.

"I like the atmosphere here among the players, the manager (Steve Bruce) and the technical staff. Everything is okay in that respect."
