Conte on training complaints; Chelsea sack rumours: Anything can happen

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says he doesn't know if his players are unhappy with his training methods.

It was claimed this morning that senior players are fed-up with the intensity of Conte's sessions.

But he said today: "I don't know. My methods are the same as last season when we won the league. Honestly we are working 70 per cent less this season, maybe that is why we are in trouble.

"There is a tactical and physical aspect. When you play every two days it is impossible to work on the physical aspect, and you have less time to pay attention to the detail."

He added: "I am happy with the commitment of my players, if you ask me about the last results I am not happy. After two defeats and one draw, no coach can be happy."

Asked if he felt his job is in jeopardy, Conte said: "Every coach, every manager has to feel the pressure. But I try to give all of myself, put all of myself in the job. For this reason I am happy when I go home I know that in every moment I have given all of myself for the club, the job, the players.

"But you are aware anything can happen in football."
