Former Italy coach Antonio Conte admits he's in regular contact with Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis.
Conte has spoken this past week of ambitions to coach Napoli or Roma in the future.
He said on RAI 2: "I talk to him often and willingly, because we have a personal relationship.
"He has always shown me great respect. He made a very specific choice with Garcia after Spalletti. The choices he has made over the years have shown that he is a far-sighted person, a visionary, time will prove him right again this year."
Conte also said: "I worked in Turin and Milan. I would like to experience places like Rome and Naples, for the passion they transmit. What should the conditions be? A project that gives me the chance to compete to win. Taking on a team in midseason? No because they are situations already created."
