Italy coach Antonio Conte is coy over his future in the job.

Conte has been linked with the Chelsea job this week.

"History teaches us many things.

“Cesare Prandelli went to the World Cup with an extension and Italy went out in the first round, so he resigned.

“Marcello Lippi won the World Cup when everyone already knew he would be leaving after the competition. Will I renew my contract up to the World Cup? Never say never.

“I have always envied the Coaches who got to take part in a European Championship or World Cup, so to be here now is fantastic.

“I played in them and during those games you can feel all of Italy pushing you forward."
