Connor Randall reveals Liverpool boss Klopp keeping kids involved

Connor Randall says Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keeping the club's youngsters involved.

The German is keen to give youth a chance at Anfield and he's stopped a number of hot prospects leaving on loan.

The 20-year-old said: "[Klopp] hasn't said much other than to just keep patient.

"You're training with [the first team] every day so it's great you're learning from the players and learning each day and improving.

"It's important that I've just got to make sure I'm fit and ready if the chance does come. There's a lot of lads I've played with, especially the ones at Melwood, that play when they can.

“I think that's vital because you've got to get your minutes in and there's nothing like match fitness.

"When everyone does play, we've got a great team. There's a lot of players for the U23s now and we've got a really good side."
