Liverpool's interest in RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner remains rock solid, according to some German sources.
There's conflicting reports in Germany that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is in contact with Werner's camp and willing to bid big this summer.
Tied to RBL until 2020, BILD says Werner has rejected a contract offer to extend to 2022 and will be sold at season's end.
However, Werner has since stated: "I am not involved in any transfers. I am only dealing with the present and the World Cup, if I should be there. After that I earned a holiday and then I will join RB and then the new season comes.
"That's how it's planned. And if you have a contract until 2020, that's perfectly normal."
