Columbus Crew have completed the signing of Cedrick Mabwati from Spanish club Real Betis.
The DR Congo winger has joined the Crew on an undisclosed deal which will be official upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.
22-year old Cedrick has spent his entire career in Spain with such clubs as Atleico Madrid and Numancia and will link up with Columbus in the summer when his current loan spell with second division outfit Osasuna expires.
"Cedrick is a young, versatile player with international experience who can make an impact at any of our four attacking positions," said Crew head coach Gregg Berhalter said in a statement.
"He is another player with considerable potential identified by our international scouting network and we look forward to him joining our team this summer."
