Columbus Crew Head Coach and Sporting Director Gregg Berhalter is interested in Kei Kamara.
Kamara has been released by Middlesbrough this week.
"I think he's a very good player," Berhalter told MLSsoccer.com. "He's proven to be an excellent player in this league, so he's definitely someone who's interesting.
"Like any standout player in the league who wants to come back, we would take a look at him, so I think he is someone who's interesting. It's interesting to look at him and see his situation."
