Collins would consider permanent switch from Stoke to Ipswich

Danny Collins has said his loan switch from Stoke to Championship Ipswich could become a permanent move. "I'll obviously see how it goes, if I enjoy it then perhaps I'll look in January at an extension or a permanent move," the 31 year old told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"We'll see how it goes in the three months I'm here, but I can't rule out."

Ipswich boss Paul Jewell has brought in the Wales international defender to try and shore up a defence that has shipped 16 goals in six Championship games this season.

"I'd say I'm pretty vocal on the pitch, I've noticed it's a pretty quiet squad," he said.

"There's not too many talkers out there, I'm a vocal lad, so maybe I'll have to bark a few orders out at the back."
