Ashley Cole is ready to sign a new contract with Chelsea.

The Sunday Mirror says interest in the 30-year-old ­England defender has come from Barcelona and mega-rich Russians Anzhi Makhachkala, who could offer him £200,000 a week. Barcelona are also eyeing Cole for the January market.

But Cole, who is out of contract at the end of next season, is happy to see out his playing days at Chelsea.

Boss Andre Villas-Boas is a huge Cole fan and wants ­speculation over his future brought to an end.
