Cole wants to stay with Chelsea for life

Joe Cole wants to play out his career at Chelsea.

The 26-year-old will make his 200th appearance for the Blues if selected against Wigan in the FA Cup on Saturday.

And Cole, who has earned 47 England caps, has admitted the honour he feels in playing for Chelsea.

Cole has won two Premier League titles with the Blues since moving to Stamford Bridge from West Ham in 2003 and he is keen to repeat that success.

"It's a great honour, and if I could pause time and just play, I'd play for Chelsea forever," Cole told Chelsea's official website. "It goes too quickly. I just want to keep playing, keep winning things and enjoy it as much as I can.

"There are so many happy times and hopefully I get a few more appearances under my belt too."
