Former Newcastle United star Andy Cole has sympathy for Papiss Cisse.

Cisse is experiencing an 882-minute goal drought.

Cole told the Evening Chronicle: "All centre-forwards need service - it's that simple, and he hasn't had it.

"When Papiss came here he was a breath of fresh air.

"Everybody said he was like me.

"You have to get the service.

"The club knows what his strengths are."
