Cohen dedicates Bolton winner to late father

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Tamir Cohen paid tribute to his late father after scoring the winner against Arsenal.

The Israeli powered a 90th-minute header past Wojciech Szczesny and then removed his shirt to reveal a picture of his dad, who died in December aged 54 following a motorcycle accident.

He then broke down in tears.

"I'm very happy to score this goal," Tamir said afterwards. "It was a very emotional moment for me after this season."

Avi joined Liverpool in 1979, making 24 appearances and scoring a famous goal in a title clincher against Aston Villa.

After returning to his homeland in 1981, Avi came back to these shores in 1987 to play for former Liverpool skipper Graeme Souness at Rangers.
