Coach Robinson announces Forest departure

Premier League side Nottingham Forest are set for a backroom staff reshuffle.

The club have announced that first team coach Jamie Robinson has left after 15 months.

Head coach Steve Cooper brought in Robinson and will now have to find a replacement.

They previously worked at the Football Association together for five years.

"I've had a fantastic experience at Forest," Robinson told Training Ground Guru.

"To be involved in the coaching staff that kept the club in the Premier League for the first time in 23 years - ahead of the likes of Leeds United and Leicester City - was fantastic.

"I'm really proud of that achievement and the whole of the coaching staff should be too. Now I'm going on my own and am focused on helping coaches to get better. My approach has always been to walk in their shoes and to take a holistic approach."
