Manchester United winger Tom Cleverley is looking forward to facing Chelsea today.
On-loan with Watford, Cleverley has broken into the England U21 team this season thanks to his form at Vicarage Road.
"Playing against one of the best teams in the country will let Sir Alex see what I'm like at the top level," Cleverley told the Sunday Express.
"I've got to step up in this game against the best players in the world. This is all about getting my name out there. If I had scored eight goals in Manchester United reserves, people probably wouldn't know who Tom Cleverley is.
"Now I'm scoring goals in the Championship, it's a great stage to play on."
United whizzkid Cleverley has already attracted comparisons to England icon Beckham. Cleverley added: "I've become more like him. He's never really torn players apart with pace, more his cleverness. I'm in that sort of mould.
"I'm not anything like him yet but I can learn a lot from the way he plays.
I've not got blistering pace, but I've got good energy and shooting and Beckham is the one I'd like to follow."
