Cleverley in line for Man Utd start against Liverpool

Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley could start against Liverpool this weekend.

The Sun says the midfielder, 22, travelled to Chelsea as United's 19th man on Sunday after recovering from the ankle injury he picked up against Everton at Goodison on October 29.

Cleverley had been due to play in a reserve game against Chelsea on Monday but the bad weather forced it to be postponed.

His performances in central midfield at the start of the season led to Fabio Capello calling him up to the England squad.

And Cleverley's return would give Alex Ferguson a welcome option in a problem position for United.
