Tom Cleverley was bursting with pride after captaining Manchester United to their friendly win over AS Roma.
Cleverley, who has graduated through the United academy, wore the armband for the first time in his side's 3-2 victory over Roma in Denver.
When speaking to MUTV afterwards, he said: "It was fantastic, a really proud moment.
"I've been here since I was 11. Now, whatever I go on to do, I can say i captained Manchester United. At 24 years old, it's not bad."
