Claudio Marchisio only ever thought of Juventus stay
Claudio Marchisio insists he only ever wanted to play for Juventus.
Marchisio is Juve’s joint top scorer on four goals this season, but he had been expected to leave in the summer.
“For the last five years people act as if I’m going to leave, but the club and all the Coaches I’ve had here have given me faith. It’s true that I do better in a three-man midfield, as I can push forward and get closer to the goal.
“It’s great having a former midfielder like Antonio Conte as our Coach, as he gives us great advice.”
