Steve Clarke is happy to be the latest Scot working at Liverpool.
Throughout the Reds' history, there have been many strong characters from north of the border on the playing and coaching staff. Clarke hopes he can assist Kenny Dalglish in overseeing an improvement in fortunes for the first team.
"Hopefully I can go on to be as successful as some of the previous Scottish coaches and managers that have been here," the former Chelsea coach told this week's LFC Weekly.
"Kenny has had the spell before when he was very successful as a player and as a manager and if we can re-create some of that I'm sure everybody would be very happy.
"Hopefully in the last few matches people have already noticed that there's a little bit more energy about the team and that's something that we want to continue. Our aim is to turn the games around, put the performances in but get the results as well."
