Italian giants Juventus have dismissed reports defender Giorgio Chiellini could move to the Premier League in the January transfer window. Reports have claimed Manchester City and local rivals United are battling it out to sign the £12million-rated Italy international in the New Year.
Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco insists the club have no intention of letting their key players leave the Stadio Olimpico.
"We are used to reading of possible interest in our players from other clubs," Secco told the club's official website.
"Like Buffon or Chiellini, just to mention today's examples.
"I want to assert this is totally fake news and I take the chance to reaffirm that Juventus won't give its champions away, that we'll keep on working to achieve our targets."
