Papiss Cisse says Newcastle United fans will see the best of him in 2013.

The striker has started scoring again after a barren few months.

Cisse told the Evening Chronicle: "I have never lost any confidence. I know sometimes life can be difficult - but I know that in 2013 I will be the Papiss I have been before. That is what I am working for.

"It was my dream to come to Newcastle - and it still is a dream to be here. I came to learn very important things in football.

"I know that this year I will be much better."
