On-loan Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse says he is keen to remain in the Premier League but is not sure if it will be with the Black Cats.
The Frenchman is on loan from Ligue 1 club Marseille but has stressed his wish to keep his time in England's top flight going.
"To be honest I would prefer to stay in the Premier League. If it is going to be Sunderland, I don't know at the moment," Cisse told Sky Sports News.
"We don't know if we are going to stay up, but I think we will.
"But then it is down to the board to make a decision. I am waiting for a transfer or talks.
"No disrespect to Marseille or the public, because I have a good relationship with them and I still have a lot of friends there, but I think my heart is in England and in the Premier League."
