Papiss Cisse is on the brink of returning to action at Newcastle United.
The Daily Mail says Cisse is ready to hand Newcastle a much needed fitness boost as he nears a return from a broken kneecap.
The Senegal international is yet to play this season, but has stepped up his comeback and could be available for the Magpies match against Stoke on September 29.
Cisse spent time in France during his recovery but is now back in the North East and set to make a first team return.
