Roma are angry with fullback Cicinho after he declared he wanted to return to Brazil.

The full-back told local newspapers he wanted a return to South America after failing to get a regular first team place at the Olimpico.

"Certain behaviour is unacceptable at Roma," director Giampaolo Montali told the Corriere dello Sport.

"Things must be said to the club, not by sending a message through the newspapers, especially as Cicinho never intimated to the directors any of the issues he outlined in Brazil.

"A player should come to the club headquarters and update us on the situation. In any case, Roma are the ones who make the decision. That is beyond doubt."
