The agent of Barcelona defender Dmytro Chygrynskiy says the Ukraine international wants to stay at the Nou Camp.
It's been suggested Barca will seek to sell the youngster this summer.
"When last season ended, Guardiola had a conversation with my brother. He reiterated that he had faith in him and that everything would be fine if he continued to work with the same dedication. The coach is happy with him and my brother is very happy at the club and with the city," agent Viktor Chygrynskiy told Sport.
"He is resting now in Turkey and, if all goes well, we'll go to Japan to switch off completely. And then to back to work in pre-season. That's all he has in mind right now.
"It's cost Dima a lot to change the country and club. The first season is never easy and he has worked hard to learn Spanish. He has even made progress with learning Catalan. And now he wants to prove himself. Nobody at Barca or Shakhtar has contacted us to talk about it [a return to Ukraine]. If Guardiola remains confident in Dima he will not leave Barca."
