On-loan Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is hoping for a long Europa League run with Everton.
Atsu believes the experience he and his teammates have in European competition will be vital for the Blues' Europa League campaign.
"It's been amazing since I came to Everton," the 22-year-old told evertontv. "Everyone is friendly and I'm settled with everyone now so I can just concentrate on games.
"It'll be a very difficult match in Russia but we are hoping everything will go our way.
"It is very important that I already have experience [of playing in Europe] because it gives me confidence and I also think it boosts the confidence of the team.
"The Europa League is very important for everyone at Everton and it's a big opportunity for me to prove myself as a player."
