Chivas USA unveiled their latest recruit Osael Romero earlier this week.
The 23-year old El Salvador international was introduced to fans and media on Monday and his loan signing has the club rather excited.
"It's a great day for the club," said Chivas USA president and CEO Shawn Hunter. "Today we're able to introduce a young man who's going to make us a lot better on the field as well as get the community excited.
"We've always had a good relationship with the Salvadoran community," added Hunter. "The feedback that I've always received is, 'bring us an exciting player and even more of us will come out to The Home Depot Center and support Chivas USA.'"
Romero has signed a loan deal from Salvadoran club Vista Hermosa and was delighted to get the opportunity to play in MLS.
"I'm happy for the opportunity," said Romero. "I'm here to play and to do well on the field. More than anything, I'm just happy to be at home here."
